The Last of the Mohicans (Easy Classics)

During the French and Indian War, the military fort of a British officer is attacked, leaving his daughters Cora and Alice separated and in danger. The two sisters must traverse the wilderness of the American east to reunite with their father. Along the way, they are joined by Hawkeye, a brave woodsman, and his Native American allies Chingachgook and Uncas, the last members of the Mohican tribe. Together, they face perilous terrain and hostile forces, forging a bond of friendship and courage as they fight to survive and protect one another.
